They say – Hard Work with correct amount of Discipline and Patience always pays off. Yashasvi Jaiswal a young lad from Allahabad is one such live example. Yashasvi used to toil around the ground and spent most of his time practicing on the ground. His kept his cool and patience and struggled most of the times. But as the saying goes – success comes to those who love to succeed. Yashasvi kept on focusing his game.
Yashasvi is from Bhadohi, a village in Allahabad. He came Mumbai just four years ago and soon started practicing here. Although he faced some difficulties in the beginning but that did not stop him from playing cricket. Yashasvi soon came in lime light because of his extra ordinary performance last year in January, 2014. In a Giles Shield Tournament, Yashasvi scored a triple ton and took 13 wickets. He scored unbeaten 319 runs and ended with a wonderful bowling spell of 13/99. Although his team, Anjuman Islam Urdu High School made a thumping win by 368 runs, he became star of the match.
Recently, this 14 year old boy made into news when his achievement was given a place in Limca book of Records. He booked his name under “School cricket – Most runs and Wickets in a match.” Yashasvi was felicitated and equally supported by his team players. His father, who runs a sweet mart in Kalbadevi was equally delighted. Yashasvi now only made his name popular, but not the village he is from, has also become very popular.
