Queens Park Cricket Club was founded in 1891 and is one of the oldest cricket club from Port of Spain - Trinidad and Tobago. Queens Park Oval is well know as a “Home for West Indies Player - Brian Lara and West Indies Cricket.” Before this the club was known as “Sovereign Cricket Club”. After formation of the club, they played their first match on 23rd March 1896. The club is one of the leading Cricket Club from the country. It quickly evolved into the organisation that holds responsibility for the administration of Cricket throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Currently the club is known to the people as a oval and this oval is Home-Ground for many of the international cricketing personalities such as:

  • Victor and Jeff Stollmeyer
  • Michael
  • Joey
  • Charlie
  • Brian Divas

On the top of that, the cricket legend Mr. Brian Charles Lara is also the member of Queens Park Cricket Club.

Currently the club has also involved other sports which include:

  • Football
  • Squash
  • Hockey
  • Tennis

Apart from cricket and other sports, the club has a Gymnasium for the overall fitness of the club. This facility can be used by Financial members, Family Members, Junior Members, and Stake Holders of the club. They have specified the Gym hours according to the membership.
