Winterthur Cricket Club (WCC) is located at Winterthur, approximately 25 kilometres east of Zurich. The Club was founded in 1982 and it is associated to Cricket Switzerland. Winterthur is one of the few Swiss clubs that play cricket on a permanent "non-turf" cricket pitch, located at Sportpark Deutweg in Winterthur.

Winterthur Cricket club participates in the national league, of which it was champions in 2000 and in 2002, the Club also participates in the domestic 40-over league, National Mr. Pickwick Cricket Twenty20 Cup and other T20 competitions. The WCC has hosted it’s very own annual cricket festival. The club organizes tours and travels on tour to European destinations, such as Italy, France, England, Czech Republic and Germany. Mr. John Hallam is a President and Mr. Alexander Mackay is a Vice President of Winterthur Cricket Club. Mr. Tom Mampilly is Team Captain.

The club also has quite an extensive social side which has in the past included such events as bowling evenings, BBQs and Brunches, Men's Only Night, Club Ski-Weekend, Bowling, Billiards and numerous other events. Winterthur is also the adopted home of the regional youth team, the Zurich Crickets Cricket Club. The Club attracts members from all over the county of Zurich, from towns surrounding the lake of Zurich, and the counties of Aargau, Thurgau and Schaffhausen.

Sportanlagen Deutweg-Talgut is the Winterthur Cricket Club's ground name. The club has a structured website as well as up-to-date website, and it provides all the necessary details about the Club.
