Lords Cricket Club is based in Vienna, Austria and was founded in the year 1989. At initial stages the club had only its 13 founding members, but over the years the numbers has risen to 30 playing members and 10 non playing members. At present Lords Cricket Club consists of large number of expatriate Indians who have a relatively sound knowledge of Cricket and some who are in the learning process. Lords Cricket Club is currently the member of Austrian Cricket Association who caters to more than 16 cricket clubs from Austria. Lords Cricket Club is a Non-Profit seeking club.

The Club has regular practice sessions conducted throughout the year. During winter the club practices in an indoor hall and during the summer season the club practices in outdoor on proper and dedicated cricket grounds. Lords Cricket Club takes parts in the Austrian Open League as well as in the champions trophy playing 50 overs as well as T-20 formats. During summer, the club mostly plays friendly matches with local teams as well as visiting teams from Europe.

From the past few years the club has participated in various tournaments and league matches and also achieved records as a club. I have list down the achievement and awards.

  • Won Austrian Open League Championship - 4 times
  • Austrian Open League Championship - Runner up 3 times
  • Won Osterreichische Meisterschaft Cup - 2 times.
