Parley Cricket Club was founded in 1940’s when a local sportsman returned from war and formed a Football & Cricket Club located on Parish Council Land. In 1960’s the club became most successful Dorset football club winning the Dorset Combination League on a regular basis. In 1980 the club joined the Dorset League (Cricket) where it rapidly progressed through the divisions. The club's combination with Springfield Amateurs Cricket Club in 1993, gave a chance to the club to participate in Dorset Premier League. Further combination with Monty's Cricket Club in 1996 gave Parley a strong organizational and youth infrastructure.
In 2000 Parley Cricket Club won the Dorset Premier League title for the first time. They had a remarkable unbeaten season. After this Parley Cricket Club made their youth structure to include youth players at a very young age. In 2006 Parley’s under 15 team won the Portman Under 15 National Club Championship after a memorable sequence of wins. In 2009, Parley justified the club's youth policy by winning the Dorset Premier League Championship; the youngest side ever to do so.
Paul Hendy is President of Parley Cricket Club and Keith Clarke, Alan Graham, Trevor Jacques & Len Summerson are Vice-Presidents of the Club.
Currently Parley Cricket Club has 8 adult teams and 14 Youth/Girls teams, all ages from 8 to 16, girls’ team in the under 11's and under 13's age groups.
The Ladies section at Parley was first established in 2013 as a way of providing a safe yet enjoyable environment for older girls and women of any age to play cricket in. Parley Ladies compete in Division 2 of the Hampshire Women's League and the South Hampshire Indoor Cricket League.

Parley Cricket Club played at 275 Christchurch Road, West Parley, Ferndown,BH22 8SQ (Saturday Hampshire 1st XI , DPL& Womens XI), King's Park, Bournemouth (Hants II and Hants III matches here in the HCL), Littledown - Chaseside, Bournemouth BH7 7DX (Saturday 5th XI) and Dorset Indoor Centre - Hurn Bridge, Christchurch, BH23 6DY (indoor training and coaching and winter indoor league competitions).
In 2011 PCC invested £10,000 in new Covers and Sight Screens in conjunction with SITA, In 2012 Parley Cricket Club have invested £45,000 in a new Artificial Net Facility in conjunction with the E.C.B. They have also invested in a BOLA Bowling Machine. In 2015/16 they are planning to invest in a new Electronic Scoreboard at Parley. Along with this Parley Cricket Club is continue to invest in and develop young players into coaches and umpires. Currently they have ECB Level 1, 2 and 3 coaches with themselves. One to one coaching and/or small numbers coaching sessions are available from our Head Coach and ex-professional Paul Prichard and our England U19 International Tom Barber (sen) at Parley Cricket Club.
