Warsaw Cricket Club was founded in 1993 by a group of expats people from England, India and Australia. Warsaw Cricket Club is located in Zielonki-Parcele, Zachodnia, Poland. The club members started playing cricket on Sundays in Warsaw at Promenada Country Club (Now known as Panorama Country Club). Tim Close, Graeme Cassel, Sunny Ahuja, Tarun Daluja, Madhup Sharma and Nick Sinha were among the initiators. Warsaw Cricket Club is the oldest Cricket Club in Poland. Warsaw Cricket Club have players from countries like Poland, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia and they have two things in common: 1. They are passionate about cricket and 2. They all live in Warsaw.

Warsaw Cricket Club takes part in all major national tournaments (Polish Cricket League, Polish Cup).  Warsaw Cricket Club was the host and organizer of the 2012, 2013 and 2014 editions of Polish Cup – the most important cricket tournament in the country. The 2013 and 2014 editions of the Polish Cup were the biggest cricket tournaments held in Poland.

Warsaw Cricket Club also travelled to Central and Eastern Europe, and some of the clubs from Hales and Estonia also visited Warsaw Cricket Club. Most of the players from WCC team are the core of Polish National Squad. In September 2012 WCC squad won its first international tournament Euro Twenty20 Cup in Bulgaria, in which 8 teams were competing. That great success is mentioned in the latest 2013 edition of the Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack, the most important cricket reference book published annually in the United Kingdom since 1864. WCC has been the winner of Polish Premier League for three years in a row. They also won the very first edition of Piotrowice Nyskie International Cricket Tournament. Currently WCC is champion holder of The Polish Cricket T20 Cup. In 2013 Poland national team had traveled to Hungary to take part in TriNation Cup and reached the final.
