Yes you heard it Right.. Nagendra Dhanavath, a student from IIT Bombay is very passionate about Cricket and dreams of playing for India One day.

Nagendra Dhanavath who is 22, has just completed pursuing his bachelor’s degree from IIT Bombay. Nagendra is originally from Hyderabad and has moved to Bombay toSulakshan Kulkarni teaching batting continue his studies. IIT Bombay attracts students from all over the country who are studious and willing to make a career in engineering. Nagendra was one of them. Being an above average student in his school and college days, he decided to pursue Electrical Engineering at IIT. IIT Bombay being one of the reputed college, made Nagendra leave his home town Hyderabad and he shifted to Bombay.

Nagendra was exceptionally well in academics. But there was something else, that made him different from his IIT friends. It was his love for Cricket. Nagendra started playing at a very small age, when he was in Hyderabad. Like every other kid born in India, Nagendra loved this game and wanted to continue playing it. Soon after he joined IIT, his majority of time went with books, classes and exams. But his love for the game never ever got detached. He got selected for his college team and started representing IIT Bombay at Inter College matches.  He soon gained confidence and his performance got better and better with time. And there he was, managing his time for both Education and Cricket. Nagendra soon realized that his results in Cricket could be even better, if he nurtures and takes his Cricket to a professional level. The next question which struck him was, how to get a Professional Coach who would give him Personal Cricket Coaching?

He contacted Global Cricket Community asking to arrange for a Professional Cricket Coach. He knew Global Cricket Community because of the Summer Camp that they had arranged last year in March 2014. Nagendra mentioned to us what exactly he wanted with this Personal Cricket Coaching Camp. So we contacted Former Mumbai Ranji Coach Mr. Sulkashan Kulkarni, who we thought would be the best Coach for Nagendra. And he was equally pleased when we told about Nagendra and his passionCricket Coaching Camp at IIT Bombay for Cricket. Coach Sulkashan Kulkarni agreed to give Professional Cricket Coaching to Nagendra at IIT Bombay’s Cricket Ground. The entire Coaching Camp was divided into 13 sessions that ran from February to March. It was a two month long, focused and result oriented Coaching.

Coach Sulkashan Kulkarni started off with basic Batting Techniques and gave assignments to work on after every sessions. Nagendra followed the instructions quite well and kept on working on his weak points, also strengthening his strong areas. Coach Sulakshan Kulkarni was very pleased with the way Nagendra was improving day by day. He soon started giving situational battings that would help Nagendra to develop his game. Coach Sulakshan  Kulkarni even took Nagendra to Indoor Stadium where he brushed up his skills against bowling machine. Batting drills were also undertaken by the Coach. Nagendra was equally pleased with the Coaching Camp and had great things to learn. This definitely helped Nagendra to take his Cricket to a next level.

Global Cricket Community is glad to have arranged the Cricket Coaching Camp for Nagendra Dhanavath, in helping him to get Professional Coaching. We wish him all the best for future.
