Marc Taylor is an opening batsman from Police Team and National Cricket Team of Bahamas. Marc is also employed with the Royal Bahamas Police Force. Marc and his team is preparing for the upcoming local tournament, which combines 3 teams - Bahamas, Jamaica and Guyana. The challenge faced in Bahamas Cricket was the lack of young players. 2. At Present: Are you a Coach? A cricket player? A cricket related business? A club Owner? A cricket Fan? Mention your work profile (if anything else).
At present I am not a coach, yes I am a cricket player but I do not own a cricket related business or a cricket club. I am without doubt a cricket fan and will always be. Presently I am employed with the Royal Bahamas Police Force at the rank of police constable. I am unable to tell you the area I work in because of its confidentiality but I can tell you that it requires a lot of hours and is very demanding.

3. Are you playing cricket currently? If Yes - Since how long are you playing cricket? What level of cricket have you played so far in your country?
I am currently playing cricket in my local cricket league under the Bahamas Cricket Association which has 2 seasons with the same teams one is a 20/20 season and the other is a 40 over season. This means that cricket is played for about 7 months out of the year.

4. Do you play for any club or a team? Mention their names? When was it founded? Where are you working currently?
Yes I play for a team called the police. I am currently working as a police officer in the Royal Bahamas Police force.

5. Where do you and your team see yourself in coming 5 years? Where do you want to focus in order to improve your cricket?
In five years I would hope that my team would have improved tremendously in terms of obtaining a few more skillful players and coaches that will help us win champions like the team did in the past.

In order for this to happen it has to be a joint effort from the management personnel along with the captain to focus on recruiting and showing other players what the team has to offer

No Unfortunately there is none at the moment.

7. Any recent achievements/activities that you had. (It could be organizing a small camp, or just playing a match or organizing a cricket camp or playing a tournament series) Do mention the date.
There are no achievements activities or tournaments I played in as yet for the year. There is an upcoming local tournament which is made up of 3 combined teams Bahamas who is the defending champs, Jamaica, Guyana and a team made up from other countries. these teams are made up from the best local players that play in the league.

Yes I would like to come to India for a tournament or coaching camp and I have a open mindset when it comes to travelling. I would like to go anywhere.

9. What are the challenges you are facing in your country's cricket? If any, how do you feel to overcome those challenges?
The challenges we are facing in the local cricket is the lack of players and young players. However this problem is being rectified. There is a cricket in schools program that is working well to help add players to various teams.

10. One thing that you instantly need that would boost the involvement of people in your country's cricket?
One thing that is needed to boost the involvement of people in our country's cricket is the international spotlight or broadcasting along with some much needed sponsors.

Three active cricket clubs are The Police, Pacesetters and Lions. These are all local teams. 

12. Would you like to nominate any club from your country for a free website from Global Cricket Community? If Yes, Why?
I will get back to you with the answer for this. Permission must be given from the teams.

13. Tell in brief (One paragraph). Which country are you supporting this World Cup? And Why?
I supported the West Indies in the past world cup because I am west Indian and would like to see the team play at a high level like they did in the past. The west Indies team has been under dogs for far too long, so I was hoping that the winning the world cup would have been started the walk on that road to redemption but I was wrong.
