Boise Cricket Club is located in Boise, United States was founded in 2007 by a group of cricket lovers across different parts of the World. Boise Cricket Club has grown hugely over the years with members from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Australia, the Caribbean Islands, and the United States of America. Boise Cricket Club in association with the Boise Parks & Recreation has built and maintains a Cricket field with a fabricated turf pitch at the beautiful Ann Morrison Park in Downtown Boise.
Every Saturday/Sunday. The club hosts an annual T20 tournament spread from bound to fall with several teams formed by its members. The club also sends teams to Utah, Oregon, and Nevada to participate in tournaments and friendly cricket games.
Cricket started in Boise more than a decade ago, during the mid- 1990’s when some fellow from India and Pakistan got together at the Micron® Technology’s (Idaho-based semi-conductor company) softball field and played with tennis ball, using the baseball diamond as their pitch. Since then, cricket has expand to a great amount in Boise. Several of the original members moved out of the city, leaving it to the hands of younger generation.
Boise Parks and Recreation department, help Boise Cricket Club for their permanent location. Boise Cricket Club (BCC)® has its own proper pitch to play hard ball cricket at Ann Morrison Park, the most scenic park in Boise.
