Oxford Cricket Club has been in existence for more than 130 years. It is one of the historical cricket club from Oxford. The club has won the Title of Cherwell League 12 times in its first 20 years. Since 1994 many of the club have merged themselves with Oxford Cricket Club in 2003 Rover Cowley cricket Club members have joined Oxford Cricket Club and later on in the year 2008 Morris Motors Cricket Club joined the club. Club have done tremendous growth in the level of Cricket in the club and the first XI is currently representing the club in the highest level of club cricket in UK.

Currently the club has 4 senior Teams namely First XI, Second XI, Third XI, Forth XI. First XI club is currently laying in Premier Cricket leagues. second, third and forth Xi playing in the Cherwell league, In Division 2, 4 and 7 respectively. Oxford Cricket Club also promotes Women’s Cricket by having 2 women’s team. Oxford Cricket Club is the largest women’s Section in Oxfordshire, includes all level of women’s players from beginners to county Standard.The club has 2 women’s team First XI and Second XI. The First XI team plays in Division 1 while Second XI begins this season in division 4 in 2015.

Outdoor Training Sessions:
The men’s training sessions takes place on every Thursday evening. Club also conduct the programs for beginners through which more than 50 players played over 20 matches in year 2015 and the club has scheduled more than 30 matches in 2016.

Youth Cricket:
Oxford Cricket Believes in a Youth development as they are the future of the club. Oxford Cricket club conducts the development program for the youth such as girl and boys both for the age group of under 7.

The club have mentioned the special level of cricket coach for men and women to understand the abilities of the cricketers. All the training sessions are lead by ECB Qualified Coaches who hold the current first Aid and child protection certificates. Youth Indoor training sessions begins at the start of February and Outdoor training sessions begins in the month of may.
