I was 6 years old sitting in my varandah and I was looking at the guys practice in the nets since I live next door the pasture. And I saw Raul Lewis Bowling in the nets and I thought to myself that I can bowl as him then I ran to him and said Raul I can bowl like you? He said "Yes of course." Then he sent a ball to me and I took my mark then delivered and the ball was well pitched just around middle and off and it swung a mile. He then told me whenever he comes to practice make sure I am there and from that day onwards I have been playing cricket.Grenada Cricket Team

6. Where are you playing cricket currently? Since how long are you playing cricket? What level of cricket have you played so far in your country?
I play for Grenada under 15. When I was 13 years old, still in primary school our first tour was in Dominica. I picked up 18 wickets in the tournament. My best figures in that tournament was 4 for 16 in 8 over’s. I was picked for wind ward island and we travelled to Trinidad where Grenada won the under 15 tournament for the first time in history.
However due to the hard economic crisis in Grenada cricket and school was not getting along so I had to put it on hold till I finish school. I still played on weekends in the domestic league where 2 years in a row I got trophies for the most wickets in the league. First year I got 45 wickets in 8 games then the next year 52 wickets in 8 games.
Grenada Cricket TeamAt the age of 17 I played for Grenada under 19, didn't perform for that season and because of biasness in the selection panel I was only made reserve every year after that. I am looking forward to playing cricket professionally. I want to eat cricket, drink cricket and I am willing to make cricket my job of course with hard work training and dedication.
Despite we have Players like Devon Smith, Junior Muary, Raul Lewis and Andrew Fletcher; all played for west indies an some are still playing. However due to Grenada Economic Crisis cricket is not promoted well here. So I am looking for a club that is willing to accept me and am pretty sure I will work wonders with my talent and expertise.
One of my objectives is to play cricket professionally and entertain the world and also help promote cricket in my country and over the world. Unfortunately my club does not have a Website, but if u go to Facebook and u type in Grenada Cricket Associations, you will find pictures. In My village and parish and all over Grenada I am known for my brilliant bowling, swinging the ball in all direction you can think of. However I think due to the lack of promotion and facilities my talent will be stable as a result I am looking to explore different avenues.
