Excerpts from an Interview with Zainab Khan from Pakistan by Vishal Yadav

1. Currently where are you playing cricket? Since how long are you playing cricket? What level of cricket have you played so far?
I am currently playing in Pakistan. I have played first class cricket, first class t20 league matches and first class one day matches.

2. Do you play for any club or a team? Mention their names? When was it founded?
Yes. National cricket club Islamabad. It is since 1984.
I am playing club Cricket since 2009.

3. Where do you see yourself in coming 5 years? Where do you want to focus in order to improve your cricket?
I see myself in Pakistan team working hard as a wicket keeper to improve my standard of cricket.

4. What are you and your team doing in order to promote cricket as a game and involve many people.
We are trying to communicate with different level of cricketer like Pakistan players and domestic players and few overseas players.

5.  Any recent achievements/activities that you had (It could be organizing a small camp, or just playing a match or organizing a cricket camp)
I organized matches for my region Peshawar against national cricket academy Islamabad where I work as assistant coach and professional player.

6. Would you like to come to India for a tournament or a coaching camp?
Yes I would love to come to India for matches and for guides of player.
Or do you want to travel any other country (if Yes, please mention the name)?
Yes I want to visit UK, Australia to improve my cricket skills.

7. What are the challenges you are facing in your country's cricket? If any, how do you feel to overcome those challenges?
A lot of favoritism for province is the challenge we are facing. My Peshawar region is not getting attention of selector and management.

8.  One thing that you instantly need that would boost the involvement of people in your country's cricket?
Instantly we need money to get attention off most of the people.

9. Tell in brief (One paragraph). Which country are you supporting this World Cup? And Why?
I think Australia England, India and New Zealand because they are highly skilled and experience with perfect fitness levels.
