The Match 2 of IPL 2017 is between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants. This will be a tough fight for these teams from Maharashtra – Mumbai and Pune. With players from all the top T20 playing countries like Australia, South Africa, West Indies and New Zealand. This is going to be one big match in IPL season 10.

RPS have the superstar MS Dhoni, Ben Stokes (Most high-value player of IPL10 2017), R Ashwin, A Zampa, M Marsh (may be undergoing surgery), A Rahane and Faf du Plessis and more. MI has super players like Jos Butler, Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya also strike bowlers M McClenaghan and J Bumrah. The MI captain is Rohit Sharma and RPS is Steve Smith, both known for their batting and captaincy.
  3. Adam Zampa had the best bowling figures in 2016 taking 6 wickets giving only 19 runs in his 4 overs. Lasith Malinga had taken 5/13 in 3.4 overs in the 2011 edition.
  4. The wicket keepers for this match are special. Rising Pune Supergiants has the great M S Dhoni whereas the Mumbai Indians have the experienced Parthiv Patel. A new interesting option for Mumbai Indians is Nicolas Pooran from West Indies, who is a wicket-keeper and left-handed batsman. Wicketkeeping is going to be an important aspect for both these teams.
  5. This match between RPS and MI will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association’s International Stadium. With a capacity of 37000 and being close to both Mumbai and Pune city, there will be full support from both sides.
