I began playing cricket in 2003. I got involved with cricket when I was in primary school. For a while we started to play on TCA (Tanzania Cricket Academy). In Dec 2007 for the first time I was elected captain of Tanzania U15 tournament held in Kenya, Nairobi. We performed badly it was our first time we had just began the game!!.
In June 2008 was re elected as vice captain of Tanzania U17 tournament held in Uganda, Kampala we did well although we lost 2 games and finished in 3rd position.
In April 2009 participated in U19 World Cup qualifiers in Lusaka Zambia. At that time head Coach was a former national and international cricket player Rajab Ali. We were fortunate to win 2 games in 7 games played!!
Again in August 2010 we participated in U19 World Cup qualifiers Namibia, Windhoek our coach that time was Kassim Nassoro currently national player. We could not win even a game in our 8 games played, and had to be relegated to division 2.
Since that time i have never played cricket In the National Team due to many elements within the Tanzanian Cricket Association.

Cricket has become part of my life. In the next 5 years I see myself becoming a professional cricketer. All I want is to focus more to be the best especially setting my realistic goals.

5. Any recent achievements/activities that you had. (It could be organizing a small camp, or just playing a match or organizing a cricket camp or playing a tournament series) Do mention the date.
As a team we came up with idea of coming up with an active Facebook page that we use to update every game we played and give information to other people. We are involved in school coaching of cricket that passing the skills learnt to the younger generation we saw this was the way forward to enable us involve many people. As they say Future of cricket depends on the young one's. It is best if we nurture the young talents and perfect them for the future of cricket.
Recently me and my team mates, we organised mass cricket for all the young future stars. At least we manage to pass what we know to them.
