Sornnarin Tippoch, captain of Thailand women’s cricket team, reached a historic landmark in her side’s victory over Singapore Cricket Team at Prem when she made the first hundred ever to be scored in the ACC Women’s Championship. Working as a cricket development coach and looking after different provinces . Currently Playing for Thailand National Women's team as captain.

3. Are you playing cricket currently? If Yes - Since how long are you playing cricket? What level of cricket have you played so far in your country?
Yes. I am playing cricket  for last 10 Years. Playing for Thailand national Women's team. Last year we participated at ICC Women's Worldcup Qualifier (Ireland) and Asian games 2014.

4. Do you play for any club or a team? Mention their names? When was it founded? Where are you working currently?
Thailand National Women's team
Currently Playing for a club called Thailand Women's Club. Our team playing at A division at Bangkok Cricket League for last 2 years (2012)
I am working for Cricket Association of Thailand (Full Time).

5. Where do you and your team see yourself in coming 5 years? Where do you want to focus in order to improve your cricket?
We would like to participate in Women's ODI world cup for the next one. We need more practice game and need to play with the other international team so we can improve ourselves to know and learn more cricket from out side world.Sornnarin Tippoch - With Mithali Raj

7. Any recent achievements/activities that you had. (It could be organizing a small camp, or just playing a match or organizing a cricket camp or playing a tournament series) Do mention the date.
I am the first women who scored 100 against Singapore women's two years (January 27th, 2013) back in ACC Women's Cricket Championship 2013. Held in Chiang mai Thailand. It was 20 Overs game.

She recorded an unbeaten 108 from 75 balls with nine fours as Thailand reached an impressive total of 214 for 4 in 25 overs and then restricted Singapore to just 85 for eight to win by 129 runs

8. Would you like to come to India for a tournament or a coaching camp? Or do you want to travel any other country (if Yes, please mention the name)?
Every year our team goes to India for tour. Last 3 years we been in India Bangalore and played against the local team and Karnataka Women's team. I would love to play there.
Also other end I want to go England or Australia to play better cricket and learn more.

9. What are the challenges you are facing in your country's cricket? If any, how do you feel to overcome those challenges?
The biggest problem is Cricket is not the popular as much as the others Asian countries. There is no live cricket broadcasting in Thailand so its difficult. People don’t know much about cricket and its like a new sports for them. So it will take a bit time to over come from it.
But the Cricket association of Thailand doing best to promote more cricket along with the Sports Authority of Thailand  and currently around 25 province playing cricket and I think it’s a matter of time that cricket will be more popular same like the other sports in Thailand.

I rather Recommend Thailand cricket Club. This is our own club and most of the thai boys are playing for this team. Which will be more expose for our cricket development process and people will know from your site cricket in Thailand is really happening and going ahead.

13. Tell in brief (One paragraph). Which country are you supporting this World Cup? And Why?
I would like to cheer for Australia and India. Both teams look a strong contender for the world cup. The players and game planning are very much interesting which is good learning for me everyday.
