Columbus CC is an Associate member of The United States Cricket Association (USACA), which is the governing body of Cricket in USA. Columbus CC is an open club and membership is open to anyone with an interest in the sport. Columbus Cricket Club is one of the oldest Cricket Club in Central Ohio.

To be a competitive and premier Cricket club in Central Ohio, and to promote the game of Cricket among all skill levels, in the local communities especially the youth and Cricket enthusiasts.

Columbus Cricket Club has players from India, Sri Lanka, West Indies, England, Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh which have been a part of club at some point of its existence.
In the year 1998 Columbus CC hosted its first Cricket festival at the OSU cricket ground. Several Midwest Cricket teams participated in the festival with the highlight being the visiting touring team from India.
